DUDLEY, Mass. (10/21/23) – The Nichols College football team fell to #19/20 Endicott College on Saturday afternoon in a consistent down pour from Vendetti Field. The Bison were shut out 48-0 by the Gulls in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action.
The Bison struggled to find any offense as they were held to 59 passing yards and 75 rushing yards for a total of 134 yards in the game. Senior David Harding and junior Shane Roberts paced the Bison defense recording 11 total tackles each.
The Gulls scored early and often in this one, racking up 392 rushing yards in a rainy contest that didn't allow for much of an offensive passing attack on either side. The Bison trailed 28-0 at the half after Endicott scored a pair of touchdowns in each of the first and second quarter.
The Gulls rolled to a 48-0 win to improve to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in CCC play. The Bison fall to 3-4 and 0-2 in CCC play.
Nichols will look to right the ship as they travel to Milton, Mass. to take on CCC opponent Curry College. Kick off from Walter M. Katz Field is set for 12:00 p.m.
