Former BW and All-OAC Defensive Back Williamson '23 Signs with Iowa Barnstormers

DES MOINES, Iowa – Former Baldwin Wallace University and Ohio Athletic Conference defensive back Robbie Williamson '23 (Columbus/Beechcroft) has signed with the Iowa Barnstormers of the Indoor Football League (IFL). 

Williamson becomes the second BW defensive back to continue his career professionally joining All-American Anthony Kendall, who is playing with the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League.

In his final season in Berea, Williamson played and started in all 10 games at corner back.  He was second on the team with a career-high seven pass breakups and second on squad with two interceptions.  Williamson finished his final season with 25 tackles.

For his career, Williamson appeared in 22 games with 20 starts.  He recorded 62 tackles, 14 pass breakups, six interceptions and recovered one fumble.  Williamson was an All-OAC honorable mention selection during the spring season of 2021. 

Williamson and the rest of the Barnstormers begin training camp in the spring of 2024.
