Today's Contest
This is the sixth game of the 2023 season, the second road, the fifth Ohio Athletic Conference game and the only night game for the Baldwin Wallace University football team as it travels to New Concord to take on Muskingum University. BW was idle last week. In their last game on September 30, the Yellow Jackets fell to Marietta College by a final score of 42-21 at home. Muskingum was also idle last week. In their last game, the Fighting Muskies fell to Heidelberg University by a final score of 20-17 on a field goal as time expired.
The Series
BW and Muskingum are meeting for the 66th time on the gridiron. The Yellow Jackets hold a 50-13-2 all-time series lead, including winning 15 of the last 17 contests. In the last 17 meetings, BW has outscored the Fighting Muskies by a margin of 532-257. The series began in 1917 when Muskingum defeated the Yellow Jackets, 25-7, in New Concord.
BW Head Coach Jim Hilvert
Hilvert is in his seventh season at BW and has a record of 38-19 and Ohio Athletic Conference slate of 32-17. He is 105-45 in his 15th overall season. Hilvert is 6-0 all-time against Muskingum.

Offensively, senior quarterback Joey Marousek (North Royalton) has completed 87-of-152 passes for an OAC fourth best 1119 yards with 11 touchdowns. Junior running back Victor Ford, Jr. (Cleveland/Shaker Heights) leads the ground game with an OAC fifth best 345 yards on 58 carries with an OAC fourth tying three touchdowns. Sophomore running back George Linberger (Barberton/St. Vincent-St. Mary) has rushed for an OAC sixth best 327 yards on 68 carries with two touchdowns. Senior wide receiver Darius Stokes (Canton/GlenOak) leads the receiving unit with 17 catches for 178 yards with one touchdown. Defensively, senior All-OAC linebacker Mason Levasseur (Panama City, Fla./South Walton) leads the team and is tied for second in the OAC with 49 tackles.
Scouting the Fighting Muskies
In week five of the season, Muskingum scored 17 points on 177 yards rushing and 160 yards passing for 337 total yards. Heidelberg was scored 20 points on 208 yards rushing and 191 yards passing for 399 total yards.

Offensively, senior quarterback Doug Crawford has completed 87-of-138 passes for OAC seventh best 1002 yards with seven touchdowns. Crawford also leads the ground attack as he has rushed for 268 yards on 78 carries with an OAC tying best seven touchdowns. Senior All-OAC wide out Zuri Edmonson has caught 19 passes for an OAC seventh best 322 yards with one touchdown. Senior All-OAC wide receiver Ja'Lin Goodman has reeled in 19 passes for 241 yards with three touchdowns. Defensively, junior All-OAC linebacker Austin Willforth tops the squad with 29 stops and is tied for the team lead with two sacks.
