BW's Kendall Named to D3football.com All-Region 4 Team

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.  –  Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC defensive back Anthony Kendall (Port Richey, Fla./River Ridge) has been named to the D3football.com All-Region 4 first-team as a corner back.

Kendall, who earns his first All-Region honor, now advances to D3football.com All-America ballot, which will be announced on December 16 at the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl. 

In 10 game this season, he led BW, the OAC, and was tied for 13th in NCAA Division III with a career-high 12 pass breakups.  Kendall led the Yellow Jackets and was tied for third in the league with a career-best three interceptions. he was fourth on the team with a career-high 56 tackles.  Kendall also recorded a career-best four tackles for loss, his first career forced fumble and first career sack at Capital on October 29. For his efforts this season, Kendall was named the OAC Lee J. Tressel Defensive Back of the Year as well as to the All-OAC first-team.

For his career, Kendall appeared in 31 games and recorded 127 tackles, including 10 for a loss, 20 pass breakups, six interceptions, one forced fumble and one sack.  He was a two-time All-OAC selection.

Off the field, Kendall is an Academic All-OAC selection, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar, and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society. 

BW finished the season with a 7-3 overall record and in third place in the OAC with a mark of 7-2.
