Stevenson's Ryan Larsen To Coach U.S. Under 18 Select Team in International Bowl Series

INDIANAPOLIS – USA Football announced Wednesday that Stevenson University offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Ryan Larsen will coach the U.S. Under-18 Select Team against the Panama National Team on Friday, January 11 at 5:30 pm Eastern as part of the 10th annual International Bowl Series.  The game will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys and can be seen live on ESPN3.

Established in 2010, the International Bowl is the longest-running annual series of high school-aged international football teams. Age divisions of competing are Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 with two games played within each age division. This year's event – International Bowl X – will convene 16 teams from three continents across four age divisions for two gamedays of global competition. The 10th annual event will feature 12 days of team activities, skill development and practices. U.S. National Teams are managed by USA Football, a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee and the sport's national governing body.

Larsen recently wrapped up his fourth season at Stevenson as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.  During his tenure the Mustangs have made four straight postseason appearances and posted a record of 32-12.  In 2017 the Mustangs ranked 11th nationally in passing yardage and 21st in passing yards per game, while this past season Stevenson ranked No. 37 in Division III in red zone offense while posting an 8-3 record.  Six Stevenson offensive players were named Middle Atlantic Conference All-Conference.
