Kolb named NJAC Offensive Player of the Week

PITMAN, N.J. – The New Jersey Athletic Conference released its weekly football awards and Salisbury University senior Ryan Kolb has been named the league's Offensive Player of the Week.

Kolb led Salisbury's rushing attack in a 36-14 victory against visiting Kean University on Saturday, October 22. The Sea Gulls ran for 457 yards in the game, with Kolb accounting for a career-high 184 yards and a touchdown in the victory.

This season, the Sea Gulls have the second-best rushing offense in the nation, with Kolb rushing for 577 yards, which is second on the team.

The Sea Gulls return to action this Saturday, October 29 heading south to Christopher Newport University. The NJAC contest is slated to kickoff at 4 p.m.
