Johns Hopkins All-Time Week-by-Week Rankings (AFCA & D3football.com)

BALTIMORE, MD – Fresh off an 11-1 season that included a fifth straight trip to the NCAA Playoffs and a seventh consecutive Centennial Conference title, the Johns Hopkins football team is ranked 10th in the final American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Poll and 13th in the final D3football.com Poll of the 2015 season. The 11 wins tied the school record and the Blue Jays advanced to the second round of the NCAAs for the third time in four years.

The number 10 ranking from the AFCA is tied for the second-highest final ranking for Johns Hopkins in this poll; the Blue Jays were ranked eighth in the final AFCA Poll of the 2009 season. This marks the fifth consecutive year and the sixth time in the last seven years that Johns Hopkins has finished in the top 20 in the final AFCA Poll. The Blue Jays have been ranked in the top 25 by the AFCA every week since the start of the 2011 season – a streak of 50 consecutive polls.

The final ranking of 13th from D3football.com is the fourth-highest ever for Johns Hopkins in this poll and marks the third straight year the Blue Jays have finished the season ranked in the top 13. The Blue Jays have been ranked in the top 25 by D3football.com every week since September 17, 2012 – a streak of 49 consecutive polls.

Under the guidance of head coach Jim Margraff, the Blue Jays capped the most successful four-year run in school history with this season's 11-1 record. Johns Hopkins is 42-5 with four Centennial titles and the four trips to the NCAA Playoffs, including three appearances in the second round, since 2012. The 42 wins in the last four years are the most a four-year period in Johns Hopkins and Centennial Conference history.
