JAMESTOWN, ND (September 14, 2013) - UW-Stout quarterback Hank Kujak (Jr, Blair) recorded his second 200-yard plus passing game, Trevor Morning (Sr, Bloomer) caught 10 passes and Ricky Marteney (Sr, Greenfield) booted two field goals as the Blue Devils defeated Jamestown College, 13-7, Saturday at rainy Rollie Greeno Stadium.
Kujak connected with Morning for an 11-yard touchdown play less than four minutes into the game to put the Blue Devils on the board. Kujak was 21-for-34 with 237 yards. Last week, he tossed for 272 yards. Morning finished the day with 10 catches for 107 yards. Morning had 212 receiving yards last week.
Marteney booted two second quarter field goals, a 31-yarder early in the second and a 19-yarder that was set up when Damien Guggenbuehl (Sr, La Crosse) intercepted a pass.
The Blue Devils (2-0) finished with 379 total yards, 237 through the air, 142 on the ground. Luke Bakkum (Jr, Oconomowoc) had 15 tackles and David Lindell (Sr, New Richland, Minn) had 10.
The Jimmies (0-4) got on the board midway through the third period when Beau Eriksson hooked up with Trent Roemmich for a 17-yard TD play.
The Jimmies finished with 263 total yards, 213 passing, 50 rushing.
Stout will be at North Central College, Saturday, Sept. 21 in Naperville, Ill.
