Henny Hiemenz has resigned as head football coach at Carroll University, athletic director Joe Baker announced today.
"Carroll University thanks Coach Hiemenz for his hard work and dedication to our football program and the department of athletics," said Baker. "We wish him the best in all his future endeavors."
Mark Krzykowski, assistant head football coach and defensive coordinator, will assume head coaching responsibilities on an interim basis. Hiemenz has accepted another position at Carroll.
In five seasons at the helm, Hiemenz's squads compiled a record of 28-22 overall, including a 26-19 mark in the Midwest Conference.

Prior to becoming the Pioneers head coach, Hiemenz was Carroll's offensive coordinator for three years under Jeff Voris, currently the head football coach at Butler University.
Carroll will immediately begin a national search for a head football coach.
