The weather wreaked havoc with the Spring Week 2 schedule, postponing or canceling four games and adding extended warming breaks to a fifth, but the Trinity (Texas) continued its roll and Centre had a big day, while Berry rallied to win the night's final game with just 11.9 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, winning at Birmingham-Southern.

Trinity (Texas) improved to 2-0 and came away with its first road win of the 2020-21 season, winning at Millsaps by a 37-7 score. Trinity scored on its first possession, a 95-yard drive punctuated by a 41-yard run by quarterback Wyatt Messex, and never looked back, jumping out to a 24-0 lead. Trinity piled up more than 500 yards of total offense, holding Millsaps to just 213 total yards and 29 yards rushing. Tucker Horn, who came on late in the first half after Messex was shaken up, went 8-for-15 passing for 165 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

"Really proud of the guys on earning a big road win against a historically tough conference opponent," said Tigers coach Jerheme Urban. "This is a game that has a lot of meaning for a lot of our alumni, as evidenced by the amount of text messages I received this morning, and it is fun seeing our young men buy into that tradition as well. We had a long trip yesterday and they showed some great mental toughness to come out and play the way they did today."

Michael Edmonson ran for 99 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, while Justin Carmouche had 10 carries for 62 yards and a score.

Birmingham-Southern took the lead with touchdowns in the third and fourth quarter and went up 23-20 on Berry with 6:53 left, but the Vikings rallied with a 16-play, 66-yard drive and scored with 11.9 seconds left, winning 26-23. TJ Watkins caight three passes for 105 yards and a touchdown, while Tari Westbrook had four catches, 100 yards and a score in the win. The Vikings limited Robert Shufford to 28 catches, 132 and one touchdown.

Whitworth played its first-ever game in February, rolling up 451 yards and rolling past Puget Sound 53-6. Whitworth had eight new starters on offense, seven on defense and a new kicker. And it was their first game in over 450 days. Jaedyn Prewitt, making his first start at quarterback for Whitworth, completed 8 of 16 passes for 201 yards with two touchdowns. Prewitt played only one possession past halftime as the Pirates took a 37-0 lead. The Pirates dominated time of possession 44:08–15:52.

KJ Kelley returned two interceptions for touchdowns and ETBU scored three times on defense in a 44-16 home win against Belhaven. The Blazers outgained the Tigers, 361-315, including 217 yards on the ground, but turned the ball over four times. Kelley picked off a third-down pass on the first play of the second quarter and returned it 94 yards for a touchdown, giving ETBU its first lead, 7-2. Kelley's second pick-six came in the third quarter, as he went 52 yards for a score to put his team in front 35-16. Aaron Brown went 12-for-22 for 159 yards and a touchdown for the Tigers (2-0).

Four games were canceled because of weather: Austin College at Hendrix, Howard Payne at Hardin-Simmons, Southwestern at Louisiana College and McMurry at Texas Lutheran. The Puget Sound-Whitworth game was played in sub-freezing temperatures in Spokane, Washington.
