The Stagg Bowl sites for 2022-2025 were announced, and they are all over the place. Literally.

After a span of nearly 50 years in which Division III football championships were handed out to a location two or more years at a time, the next set of four will be played in Maryland, Texas, Virginia and Ohio.

The 2021 Stagg Bowl is already slated for Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, and the game will return there in 2025. (The 2020 game was scheduled for Canton as well.)

In 2022, the Division III football national championship will move to Navy-Marine Corps Stadium, on the campus of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The 2023 Stagg Bowl will return to Salem, Virginia, for the game which is now slated to be Stagg Bowl L. (Or Stagg Bowl 50, for those who skipped Roman numerals day in grade school.)

The 2024 Stagg Bowl will return to Texas, where it has yet to find an audience, but will move to a different part of the Houston suburbs. This one will be held at George Turner Stadium in Humble, Texas. And the 2025 game will return to Canton.

The 2024 game will be organized by the Harris County - Houston Sports Authority, which is a different group than was tasked with organizing the Stagg Bowls in 2018 and 2019.
