If you want to get multiple games in the extreme South or West of Division III, you need to be hard-core on the road. And this is one of the longest itineraries. We're starting in Jackson, Miss., and not with the Mississippi Backyard Brawl, since Mississippi College has moved to Division II. Belhaven has a trip of just a half-mile to play this game. If you want to take this road trip, you will be taking a trip that's 2,250 times as long. So, welcome a new team to Division III with Belhaven at Millsaps. And get your rest, because you have 800 miles to go to make your next appointment: Averett at Washington and Lee. One of the reason these road trips have so many miles in the South is that nobody will play a Friday night game, so yeah, take a 12-hour drive for Friday night to get into ODAC country. The rest of your weekend is spent getting a deep dive into the ODAC and USA South. You're on the road for two and a half hours after Friday night to get to the Ferrum at Emory and Henry game, and follow that with Guilford at Greensboro on Saturday night. It's the Gate City Soup Bowl, so make sure to bring two non-perishable food items to the nightcap. Of course, you don't have a lot of time to shop on Saturday, because it's a tight connection between your third and fourth game.

This itinerary does not have a lot of alternatives. If you wanted to double back up to the Lexington area, you could see Southern Virginia play Redemption Chrsitian College on Saturday night, but that game doesn't even count in the eyes of the NCAA. Don't do it. Visit campus on your way out on Saturday morning, if you're someone who likes to see what other Division III schools look like.

Total: Four games, 1,123 miles start to finish.
