Former UW-Whitewater quarterback Matt Blanchard and Delaware Valley wide receiver Rasheed Bailey have latched on with new NFL clubs this week. Blanchard was signed to the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad, while Bailey was picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars' practice squad.

For Blanchard, it's his fifth NFL franchise, with all of his roster time spent either in training camp or as a member of the practice squad. He was initially signed out of college by the Chicago Bears and spent most of the 2012 season on the practice squad, then spent most of the 2013-14 seasons with the Panthers. Blanchard spent the 2015 training camp with the Packers, then spent two weeks on the Browns' practice squad before being picked up by the Colts.

The 2011 third-team D3football.com All-America selection was the Warhawks' all-time leader in completion percentage at 70.4 and threw for 5,106 yards.

Bailey was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles this past spring but was cut at the end of camp, and was not signed to the practice squad. The Jaguars are the first team to sign him since. The 2014 D3football.com first-team All-America selection is the Aggies' all-time leader wth 3,138 receiving yards.
