Jeff Judge resigned his position as the head football coach to pursue other coaching opportunities. Judge came to AU in 2003 and became the 11th football coach in school history. Before coming to AU, he was the offensive coordinator (2001-02) and defensive coordinator (2000) at UW-Stevens Point.

Judge's teams went 33-57 in eight seasons, the best being his first season, 2003, in which the Ravens repeated the previous year's record of 7-3.

“I am grateful to Jeff Judge for the many good years of service as the head football coach at Anderson University,” said Brent Baker, vice-president for student affairs. “His teams have provided more than a few exciting moments on the field and, of equal importance, I am appreciative of Jeff’s work to improve the academic success of his players. We wish him the very best in the future.”

Judge earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Iowa State in 1987. He added a master’s in sports administration from Purdue in 1989.

“Jeff Judge has been a valuable member of the AU athletic department over the past nine years as our head football coach,” said AU athletic director Marcie Taylor. “He worked with great passion to recruit young men who would not only contribute to our football program, but to the greater campus community. Jeff fostered relationships on our campus with faculty, admissions and academic support services that will continue to benefit AU athletics in the future. I wish him all the best.”

A search for a new head football coach has begun.
