Jim Good out at Hamline

More news about: Hamline

Hamline athletic officials announced today that Jim Good will be leaving his position as football coach. Good has been coach of the Pipers for the past four seasons and compiled a 10-30 record in that time, 3-29 in the MIAC.

“Jim has been a strong and passionate leader of football here at Hamline, and he will be missed,” said Bob Beeman, director of athletics. “We extend our best wishes to Jim as he pursues new opportunities.”

Prior to Hamline, Good was the associate head coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterbacks coach at Texas Lutheran during the 2004-06 seasons. From 2002-03, he served as the offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator, and he was the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2001.

The search for a new head football coach is currently underway.
