Hamline coach leaving position

More news about: Hamline

Hamline athletic officials announced Tuesday that Paul Miller will be leaving his position as head football coach.

Miller has been coach of the Pipers for the past two seasons.

"We want to thank Paul for the contributions he's made to the program in the past two years," said Dan O'Brien, athletic director at Hamline. "At the same time, we are excited to look to the future and hope to secure an outstanding replacement who will help us continue to strengthen the football program."

Hamline will begin its search for the new head coach immediately.

Prior to Hamline, Miller coached at Burnsville High School in 2004, South Saint Paul High School from 2002-03, and Apple Valley High School from 1980-96. He also coached five seasons at St. Olaf. Miller's record at Hamline was 3-7 in both the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
