MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon Football (5-2 overall, 3-1 USA South) defeated the Scots of Maryville (4-2 overall, 1-2 USA South) in their Homecoming game 28-21.
"When we were 0-4, it could have gotten really bad, but it didn’t. Instead, we were still getting better at the end of the year." And one year later, Huntingdon made the playoffs and got a road playoff win to boot. Adam Turer has more.

SALISBURY, MD. ---- Salisbury's quarterback Dan Griffin ran for 238 yards and four rushing touchdowns, in the 45-21 win over the Hawks. Salisbury only attempted two passes and carried the ball 71 times on Saturday
With starting quarterback Nick Plagenhoef out due to injury, sophomore Neal Posey stepped up and led the Hawks to a victory over cross-town rival Faulkner. Huntingdon recorded 445 total yards of offense, and held the Eagles to 280 total yards on the night.
PINEVILLE, La. — The Hawks overcame adversity and found a way to win on the road in overtime behind Courtney Moss’s single game school-record fourth touchdown run of the game. Huntingdon gained 571 total yards in offense in the battle, while the Wildcats put up 588 total yards in the 62-56 shoot-out in Pineville.
