October 21, 2023 Klein Leads MIT to 35-28 Road Win at SUNY Maritime Led by 167 rushing yards and two touchdowns by senior Brady Klein (Washington, Ill.), the MIT football team picked up a 35-28 road victory over SUNY Maritime College on Saturday afternoon. This marked the first-ever meeting between the two programs as the Privateers are in their first season as a member of the NEWMAC football conference.
October 30, 2021 MIT Earns 21-7 NEWMAC Road Win at Coast Guard Led by a pair of touchdowns from sophomore Brady Klein (Washington, Ill.) and a pair of blocked field goals and a fumble recovery by senior Sam Gozelski (East Northport, N.Y.), the MIT football team moved to 4-3 overall on the season with a 21-7 road win at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy on Saturday afternoon.
June 23, 2021 Maritime to NEWMAC in 2023 The NEWMAC lost Maine Maritime from its conference for football when the school eliminated its football program, but the conference will return to one-fourth seafaring in the fall of 2023 when SUNY-Maritime takes that spot.
November 16, 2019 MIT Claims NCAA Berth and NEWMAC Title With Wild 43-40 Win at Springfield In a wild regular-season finale, the MIT football team used a 36-yard field goal from junior Mark Wright (Fort Worth, Texas) with 33 seconds remaining to cap a 43-40 victory at Springfield to claim the 2019 NEWMAC Championship.
November 9, 2019 MIT Pulls Away for 34-21 Senior Day Win Over Norwich On Senior Day, the MIT football team used four touchdowns by senior Chris Mauck (Wellington, Fla.) to pull away for a 34-21 home win over Norwich University. Prior to the game, MIT recognized 18 members of the senior class for their contributions to the program during their careers.
