News Releases

October 10, 2023 Departures from ECFC continue The Empire 8 is welcoming a ninth program for the fall of 2025, while Dean joins Anna Maria on the way to the MASCAC, leaving Gallaudet as the last team standing in the ECFC.
October 7, 2023 Gallaudet stampedes its way towards history with AT&T 5G Helmet debut The football game, as we know it, changed Saturday afternoon thanks to a tablet and a eye lens as the AT&T 5G Helmet debuted at Gallaudet University. The Bison made history as they used the first heads up device in a football game before a crowd of 643 at Hotchkiss Field where GU rolled to a 34-20 victory over Hilbert College.
October 5, 2023 Heads-up: Gallaudet innovates again ... with a big boost from AT&T, that is. Gallaudet, which invented the huddle nearly 130 years ago, is ready to take the next step in play-calling with a new 5G helmet developed by AT&T.
November 9, 2022 Running to the beat of a different drum At Gallaudet, the nation's four-year university for the deaf and hard of hearing, every snap the football team takes used to start with someone striking a giant bass drum. That part doesn't happen anymore, but the team isn't missing a beat. Joe Sager has more about the playoff-bound Bison.
