The 2019 season starts late (Sept. 5) and ends late (Dec. 20), but will still feature 247 teams and about 1,250 games, culminating in Stagg Bowl XLVII. Featuring such unexpected matchups as George Fox at Alfred, North Central (Ill.) at Christopher Newport, Linfield at Rowan and Rose-Hulman at St. John's, the upcoming season should be a fun one.

In addition, the Cortaca Jug game, between Ithaca and Cortland, takes place at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, this November. As of last check, more than 25,000 seats had been sold, and the game has a good chance of breaking the unofficial all-time Division III football record of 37,355, set in 2017 when St. Thomas defeated St. John's at Target Field in Minneapolis.

There will be 247 teams competing in Division III football this season, while Keystone College, whose team moves into full swing in 2020, expects to play a couple of games as well.

This season does not start on Labor Day weekend, because Division III football cannot start on Saturday, Aug. 31.

A small number of schools have yet to post 2019 schedules. When they are available, we will add them to our site. In those cases, the schedule which displays are the games provided by that school's opponents.

As always on our schedule pages, all times listed are Eastern Time.
