2017 schedules are pouring in

WPI will have a new quarterback, after losing senior Dan Eckler, and a new football conference, but will keep and regain some familiar rivals.

Augustana playing its season opener in New York? UW-Platteville traveling to Virginia? A national semifinal rematch? Those are just a few of the nuggets from the first batch of released 2017 Division III football schedules. We have more than 100 complete schedules, from Albion to WPI, some of which you can't even find on the teams' websites yet.

Not all 249 schedules are complete, but even if we only have one or two games for a school, those game dates and opponents are posted on the pages above. As more games come in, those pages will be updated. But you can see how the Midwest Conference structures its teams' schedules, now that it's back to 12 teams, or how the nine-team USA South Athletic Conference will set things up. The entire WIAC conference slate is listed, as well as the conference games for the NEWMAC, which plays its first football schedule with eight teams this fall.

Plus, you can check out the 1998 schedules for more than 200 schools as well -- anyone who was a member of Division III that season. Revisit the glory days of the year of the last 16-team tournament, when unbeatens Emory & Henry and Grinnell didn't even make the playoffs and UW-Eau Claire made it to the national semifinals.
