Last Meeting: All-American RB Brock Martin ran for 108 yards and ONU turned in a dominating defensive performance in a 2020-21 season-opening 17-7 victory at Dial-Roberson Stadium. LB Johnny Rupp led an outstanding defensive effort with a career-high 13 tackles as the Polar Bears held the Cardinals to 269 yards of total offense. QB Brody Hahn was 15-of-28 passing for 189 yards and 2 TDs and ran 8 times for 57 yards.
ONU Last Week: QB Brody Hahn threw for a school record 502 yards and 7 TDs to lead ONU to a 62-27 victory at Wilmington. Hahn was 18-of-25 passing for 351 yards and a school record 6 TDs in the first half as ONU led 42-0 at halftime. Hahn hit WR Chase Rose on TD passes of 36 and 56 yards and WR Austin Eick for TDs of 59 and 2 yards as the Polar Bears led 42-0 at halftime. Rose finished the day with five receptions for 145 yards and Eick caught seven passes for 129 yards. ONU out-gained WC in total offense 650-332.
