Just like you draw it up

More news about: Juniata

Just like you draw it up. Quarterback sneaks out in motion, direct snap to the running back, pitch to the wide receiver coming around and ... oh crap, who lost the quarterback? That's how Juniata beat McDaniel on the road in overtime, and that's why it's the play of the week. Watch it from all the angles.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Here are some great plays which deserved extra mention:

After George Fox blocked a Pacific field goal attempt Rudy Hughes managed to scoop the loose ball and with a group of Boxers about to bring him down, Hughes turned around and tossed it to teammate Charles Riga. Riga then dodged two players to return the blocked field goal for a 94-yard touchdown to end the half. This was also our fan vote winner for the week.

Hardin-Simmons running back Jaquan Hemphill tied a Division III record with eight touchdowns on Saturday, the last on this 78-yard run in the third quarter in which he shakes out of a tackle, leaving his shoe behind. Footwear was optional as he rolled up 357 yards from scrimmage in an 80-42 win vs. East Texas Baptist.

Carson Ketter picks up the loose ball on the goal line and returns it 100 yards for a touchdown to give Pacific Lutheran the lead for good. The Lutes went on to beat Puget Sound 23-13.

Kayvan Aminzadeh had just two catches on the night for Chapman, but one of them was this 31-yard one-handed touchdown catch from Ricky Bautista, cutting Pomona-Pitzer's lead to 26-21. Chapman went on to win 42-40 on a 1-yard run on the last play of the game.
