Heck of a way to make a pick

More news about: Coe

This play was no accident. Take a look at how Coe defensive back Brian Robertson goes up and deflects the Simpson pass back so his Coe teammate, Terence Hall, could make the diving interception. It's the D3football.com Play of the Week.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Week 4 Play of the Week finalists

Here are some great plays which deserved extra mention:

Luther's Matt Foundos blocked a punt attempt by Dubuque, and teammate Scott Edwards controlled it in the back of the end zone to tie the game up with Dubuque, 7-7 in the third quarter. Luther went on to win 21-17.

Mitchell Globe takes the loose ball and runs 63 yards for the touchdown to lift Trinity (Texas) to a 41-35 win in overtime vs. Chapman.

After the death of Clayton Geib earlier in the week, his Wooster teammates took the field against DePauw with just 10 men. They took the snap, then took a knee. It was a symbolic gesture in honor of their brother, gone too soon. The Tigers allowed their opponents to take the untimed down.

Mount Union receiver Justin Hill makes sure the Baldwin Wallace defender has no chance to take this pass away, as he rips away the 27-yard touchdown, thrown by quarterback Robert Powell. It gave Mount Union a 41-7 lead in a game in which it went on to defeat Baldwin Wallace 55-7.
