SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee football team was defeated 55-0 by the Vikings of No. 10/8 Berry Saturday afternoon from Historic Hardee-McGee Field at Harris Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-On Berry's first drive of the game, the Vikings, who started at their own 40-yard line thanks to a Mason Kinsey 35-yard return, scored on a 15-yard rush by Isaiah Dawson.
-The Vikings scored on their next three possessions to make it 28-0 with 7:35 left in the second quarter.
-On Berry's fourth drive, the hosts stopped the scoring after an 18-yard field goal was blocked by Pierce Johnson.
-The visitors made it a 31-0 lead at the break with a 41-yard field goal by Trey Gregory.
-Berry added 24 points in the second half to put 55 points on the board.
-Sewanee, who averaged 24 minutes on time of possession in its first four games prior to Saturday, had the football for almost 30 in the contest.
-Berry is ranked nationally in both Division III Top-25 polls. The Vikings are 10th in the D3football.Com weekly poll and eighth in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) poll.

-Between Cooper Hancock and Alex Darras, the duo went 21-of-34 with 163 yards. Hancock had the most passing yards between the duo with 85.
-Jacob Viccari caught six catches for 42 yards, while Cyrus McCullough caught 50 yards via the pass.
-Jackson Menefee led all tacklers with nine, 0.5 for a loss and a quarterback hurry.
-Pierce Johnson had eight tackles and a blocked field goal.
BERRY KEY STATISTICS
-Isaiah Dawson had 130 yards on the ground with two touchdowns, as the Vikings rushed for 325 yards.
-Mason Kinsey had 147 receiving yards with a touchdown.
