(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University football team will travel travel to Washington, Pennsylvania, to play the 13th-ranked Presidents of Washington & Jefferson College on Saturday, September 15. Kick is set for 7:00 p.m.

Carnegie Mellon enters the contest against Washington & Jefferson for the 68th time with the Tartans leading the series 32-30-5. Last season, W&J defeated the Tartans 27-20 in Pittsburgh and have wonthe last fur meetings. Carnegie Mellon has squared off against the Presidents more times than any other team. The first meeting between the two teams dates back to 1906 when W&J defeated then Carnegie Tech 34-0. There have been 27 shutouts in the series with Carnegie Mellon holding the edge 13-11-3, with three games ending in a scoreless tie.
