Manchester University puts two on Hampshire Society list

Seniors Eric Beard (Findlay, Ohio) and Robby Davis (Cayuga, Ind.) represented Manchester University on the National Football Foundation's Hampshire Society announced Wednesday, April 11. The awards marked the sixth successive season in which the Spartans' program has been recognized.

Nominated by their respective schools, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must have completed their final year of playing eligibility, achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average throughout an entire course of undergraduate study, met all mandated progress toward degree requirements and have been starters or significant contributors throughout the season. Comprised of college student-athletes from all divisions of play, an all-time high 1,261 players from a record 305 schools qualified for membership in the society's 12th year.
