Kalamazoo loses finale at Albion

ALBION, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College football team lost its season finale 24-3 at Albion College on Saturday.

The host Britons led 3-0 after the first quarter and 10-0 at halftime.

Albion went ahead 17-0 in the third quarter before Kalamazoo's Greg Kearns kicked a 30-yard field goal to make it 17-3 with 1:24 left in the quarter.

Albion scored another touchdown midway through the fourth quarter to take a 24-3 lead and held on until the end.

Alex White was 22-of-51 passing for 139 yards for Kalamazoo. Seth Dexter led the receivers with 35 yards on four catches.

Hunter Roberts gained 20 yards on three carries while White added 17 yards on the ground.

Jakob Frederick led the Hornet defense while matching a career high with 16 total tackles. Clay Wilkey added eight while DeShawn Moore finished with seven.
