(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University football team will host #16 Washington & Jefferson College on Saturday, October 7 in an undefeated Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest. Carnegie Mellon will enter play on Saturday with a mark of 5-0 and 3-0 in PAC play, while the Presidents travel to Pittsburgh with a record of 4-0, 2-0. Kick is set for 1:00 p.m. on the turf at Gesling Stadium.

Carnegie Mellon and W&J will meet for the 67th time Saturday with the Tartans leading the series 32-29-5. Last season, W&J defeated the Tartans 55-52 in 2OT in Washington. Carnegie Mellon has squared off against the Presidents more times than any other team. The first meeting between the two teams dates back to 1906 when W&J defeated then Carnegie Tech 34-0. There have been 27 shutouts in the series with Carnegie Mellon holding the edge 13-11-3, with three games ending in a scoreless tie.
