Joining Williams in the backfield will be junior running back Melvin Smith who was named Offensive Most Valuable Player for the 2014 season. Smith rushed for 807 yards and six touchdowns and also added 68 receiving yards.

"Melvin is going to be an outstanding running back," said Coach Logan. "We are expecting big things from him this year."

The offensive line will be anchored by the senior duo of Zac Snively and captain Sam Lucas. Snively is a two-year starter and Lucas, a captain, has started every season and is a two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree. Also adding depth and experience to the line will be the senior trio of Christopher HoffmanJacob Clark and Patrick Hoben.

"The offensive line might be the best unit we've had at Muskingum since I've been here," said Logan. "The group had a great work ethic during the off season and the staff is excited to see them on the field this fall."

Junior captain Samuel Green, who was named Third Team All-North Region and First Team All-OAC, will return as one of the top punters in the nation. Fulton also notched a career-best 16 tackles in Muskingum's game at Ohio Northern.

"Chaney is a very good player and we are excited to have him back," said Coach Logan.  "He brings a high level of enthusiasm and emotion to the defense. Chaney understands the game of football and does some things you can't coach."

Joining Fulton to help anchor the defensive unit will be senior linebacker Zach Barry, senior defensive lineman Jordan Lee and senior defensive lineman Barry Parks.
