No. 22-ranked Tommie Football set a modern school record for points with Saturday's 83-7 road victory over Carleton in Northfield.

Ten different Toms had touchdowns, UST didn't punt all day, and its defense recovered four fumbles and limited the Knights to 157 total yards.

UST (7-2 overall, 5-2 MIAC) can share third place in the conference with a win next Saturday at home against Gustavus. The Tommies have won seven or more games each of the last seven seasons under Glenn Caruso.

UST scored on its first seven possessions for a 49-0 second-quarter lead. On the day, the Toms rolled up 621 yards of offense and had only one turnover.

John Gould threw three TD passes in the game's first 12:02. Gould finished 12-of-14 for 175 yards in two quarters of play. Two other quarterbacks came in and ran for second-half touchdowns.

Cole Kelly caught a 22-yard YD pass and now has six touchdowns in eight career receptions.
