Bluffton is launching a search for a new head coach for the football program. Aaron Krepps’ position as head football coach was not renewed after serving in that role for four seasons.

After a 2020 season in which Bluffton got in eight games during the fall and spring despite the COVID-19 pandemic and went 4-4, the Beavers went 4-6 this fall. Bluffton was 13-25 in Krepps' four seasons. The season ended with Bluffton defeating Defiance 30-12 to win the Hammer.

“After four seasons we have not seen significant success on the field or in the direction of the program,” athletic director Phill Talavinia said in a statement. “I want to thank Coach Krepps for his leadership with the football team over the last four seasons and wish him and his family all the best.”

DeVan Hill will become the interim director of football operations while a search is conducted.
