Duerr leaves Beloit to return to Ohio

Seth Duerr head shot Beloit football coach Seth Duerr has announced he will be leaving Beloit to return to staff at Division II Tiffin in Ohio.

"Seth has worked extremely hard to build our football program and has made a significant impact on the lives of many of his players," said athletic director Tim Schmiechen. "His tireless efforts have produced some great recruiting classes and some memorable wins throughout his time at Beloit. We greatly appreciate all that he's done during his time with us and wish him and his family all the best in the future."

In five seasons at the helm for the Buccaneers, Duerr has compiled a record of 11-39.

Duerr came to Beloit prior to the 2014 season after a stint as the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator for the Dragon football program at Tiffin. Prior to Tiffin, Duerr spent seven seasons as the defensive coordinator at Wooster, a season as the defensive line coach at Ohio Northern and a two-year graduate assistant post coaching running backs at Averett. He was a second-team D3football.com All-America selection as a linebacker at Wooster in 2000.
