DeWall out as football coach at Endicott

Endicott athletic director Brian Wylie announced Tuesday evening the departure of Kevin DeWall as head coach of the Endicott football program. Plans for identifying the next head coach of the program will begin immediately.

"We are grateful for Coach DeWall's commitment to the football program, the Department of Athletics and Recreation, and the greater Endicott Community, and we wish him the best of luck as he continues his coaching career," Wylie said.

Endicott, which first took the field in 2003, has had seven winning seasons, but none of them under DeWall. The Gulls went 5-5, 5-5 and 3-7 in his three seasons at the helm. DeWall was hired in 2015 after spending 15 seasons as an assistant coach at Hobart
