Anna Maria athletic director Serge DeBari announced today that head football coach Vincent Sinagra will step down at the end of the 2016 season. A search for his replacement will begin immediately.

Sinagra took over as coach of the brand-new program prior to the 2012 season when original head coach Marc Klaiman was let go after the program's first three seasons. The AMCATs are 0-7 so far this season, and are 5-42 in Sinagra's tenure.

"On behalf of Anna Maria College, I want to thank Vinny for his seven years of dedicated service to the College," said DeBari. "We wish him the best of luck in the future."
