UW-Platteville scored 21 points in the final 12 minutes of the game and put a cap on it with a touchdown in overtime as the No. 22 Pioneers rallied to stun No. 13 North Central 35-28.

Trailing 28-7 with 14 minutes left in the game, UW-Platteville (3-0) scored on two 66-yard drives, then tied the game when Dillon Villhauer returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown with 2:38 left.

The entire game might have turned on a roughing the passer penalty with about 12 minutes left in the game. Platteville quarterback Tom Kelly was facing a fourth-and-6 from the Cardinals 34-yard line and was about to turn over the ball on downs when the call was made and the Pioneers outscored North Central 28-0 the rest of the way to win.

Hobart turned the ball over six times and Ithaca turned that into the Statesmen's first regular-season loss since 2011 as the No. 24 Bombers defeated the No. 16 Statesmen 24-6. Hobart had won 33 consecutive regular season games, dating to a 29-28 loss to RPI on Nov. 5, 2011.

They'll be talking about the end of the St. John's-Concordia game for a while. The Cobbers thought they had a chance to tie the game on a Hail Mary pass with under 30 seconds to go, but it was waved off on an offensive pass interference penalty. Then they completed a pass to the St. John's 21 and had another chance at the end zone with five seconds left but were called for offsides, resulting in a game-ending runoff and a 24-16 win for the No. 8-ranked Johnnies. Sam Sura ran for 148 yards and two touchdowns for the Johnnies, who improved to 3-0. Nick Martin was 11-for-15 passing for 140 yards and another score.

Wesley made Mike Drass' day on the sidelines a memorable one. After the field was officially named in his honor in a pregame ceremony, the fifth-ranked Wolverines got the long-time coach his 200th career win, defeating Christopher Newport 44-24. Both teams are new to the New Jersey Athletic Conference this season. Each made the playoffs in 2014, Wesley as an independent and CNU as the winners of the USA South. Joe Callahan threw for three touchdowns and Jamar Baynard ran for three in the win.

Heidelberg took an early 10-0 lead on John Carroll, but the No. 10 Blue Streaks got the last three scores, including a defensive extra-point return, and defeated the Student Princes 23-16. JCU's defense held Jon Sandwisch to 10-for-27 passing while Arlin Pruitt ran for 114 yards for the Blue Streaks.

Mason Zurek ran for 124 yards and four touchdowns and the Wabash defense swamped the Gators to the tune of just 56 yards of total offense as the No. 9 Little Giants won 54-0. Allegheny had minus-36 yards rushing on the day. Corey Stump caught 14 passes for 234 yards and four touchdowns for No. 17 Wittenberg, keeping the Tigers in line for an unbeaten showdown with Wabash next week. Wittenberg defeated Ohio Wesleyan 42-21.

Matt Pawlowski was 23-for-27 passing for 331 yards and five touchdowns, three of them to Adam Smith, as Guilford defended its first-ever Top 25 ranking by defeating Averett 58-21. The Presidents improve to 3-0 heading into next week's showdown with Thomas More. The No. 15 Saints had a similarly easy time with Thiel, rolling over the Tomcats 60-12 behind 10 catches and 216 receiving yards from Goose Cohorn.

Wartburg improved to 3-0 on the season with a 41-33 win at UW-Stout. Logan Schrader threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two scores as well, with Robbie Anstoetter his top target at nine catches for 197 yards. UW-Eau Claire scored first in the second half to cut Wheaton's lead to four, but the No. 7 Thunder rolled the rest of the way, scoring 35 unanswered points to defeat the Blugolds 56-17.

Washington University was limited to three points in the second half as the Bears suffered a 34-24 loss at No. 19 Centre in their first-ever SAA contest.

Ten players carried the ball for Linfield as the No. 3 Wildcats had little trouble with their second opponent, running to a 44-7 win vs. Redlands.
