Holder Luke Hinton threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jon Mannix on the final play of the game after a botched field goal snap to lift Cortland to an improbable 23-20 win over Ithaca in the 56th Annual Cortaca Jug game.

Down by three, Cortland was able to move to the Ithaca 11-yard line with no timeouts remaining. After three running plays, Cortland hurried the field goal unit out for a 20-yard attempt, but Hinton, the holder, was late getting out. A low snap with five seconds left caught Hinton off guard. He recovered, rolled out left and found Mannix in the end zone for the winning TD.

Hinton is one of the team's punters.

The win gave Cortland State the Cortaca Jug for the fifth consecutive season and salvaged a .500 season for the Red Dragons. Ithaca dropped to 7-3 and may find itself with a more challenging first-round playoff game because of the loss.

DePauw brought its best team of the past four years into the Monon Bell game, but the result was the same as Wabash rolled over the Tigers 27-3 to retain the bell. DePauw has been held in single digits in scoring in four of the past five meetings of the rivalry and has lost six consecutive games to Wabash.

Wabash put up five sacks and 10 tackles for loss in the game, which put the Little Giants at 9-1, still in the hunt for a playoff at-large bid.

Nick Borkowski returned an interception for 75 yards for a touchdown, while Andrew Franks put RPI up for good with a 25-yard field goal with seven minutes remaining to lead the Engineers to a 31-28 win over Union in the 65th Dutchmen Shoes Trophy Game. RPI has won six of the past 11 meetings for the Shoes, after winning just 11 of the first 53.
