This itinerary starts with the first game of the 2013 Division III football season, a 7:30 ET kickoff with Trine at Manchester. At the rate things are going lately, just seeing a grass field is a novelty and in September, it should be in good shape! Since you have plenty of time to get to Friday's night kickoff, you could stop at Trine's campus or visit the Big House in Ann Arbor, which is only slightly out of your way, then see Pacific at Adrian. There aren't many opportunities to see Oregon teams in this part of the country. Saturday's itinerary leaves plenty of options but the best combination of competitive score and shortest distance take us to St. John Fisher at Otterbein for a 1:30 p.m. kick (strong consideration to Franklin at Mount Union, however), then W&J at Wooster for a 7 p.m. game.

Alternate versions include a long Friday morning/afternoon drive to Wesley or Stevenson to set you up for MAC-NJAC challenge games at Delaware Valley and Albright on Saturday, not to mention a host of other possibilities such as games at Randolph-Macon and McDaniel.

Total: Four games, 393 miles start to finish.
