Jimmie Keeling hospitalized after car crash

Retired Hardin-Simmons head football coach Jimmie Keeling was injured Friday when a car ran a red light in Abilene, Texas, where Keeling retired after 21 seasons.

Keeling has a broken vertebrae and bruised ribs, possibly broken.

The Cowboys, coached by Keeling's former assistant, Jesse Burleson, host undefeated Texas Lutheran on Saturday.
