Each week during the regular season we look at some of the key statistical performances from the weekend in Division III football, highlighting one per region.

After seven weeks, Carleton finally had another home game on its campus in Northfield, Minn., where Laird Stadium had been underwater after the nearby Cannon River flooded.

Unfortunately, St. John's was the visitor on Saturday, and the Johnnies rolled up 502 yards of total offense, were 12-of-16 on third-down conversions and a perfect 5-for-5 in the red zone in beating Carleton 31-13.

Gettysburg quarterback Kyle Whitmoyer had a hand in six touchdowns, including five through the air, in the Bullets’ 61-50 come-from-behind win against Susquehanna. He completed 20 of 28 passes for a career-high 374 yards while also rushing 11 times for 70 yards with a score. Whitmoyer helped engineer a Bullet comeback from a 50-27 deficit in the final 18 minutes, throwing three consecutive touchdown passes to kick off a 34-0 game-ending run.

Wesley defensive end Chris Mayes had seven tackles, five solo, with four tackles for a loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the Route 13 Rivalry win against Salisbury. He helped spearhead a defense that held the second rated rushing attack in Division III to 164 yards, 279 under its average) and two runners in the top 12 statistically were held to 17 yards combined on 35 carries.

The Greenville offensive line (with starters David Butler, Andrew Story, Tim Burroughs, Steven Schultz, and Jeremy Burrows) blocked for six running backs who had carries of more than 20 yards, including runs of 64, 65 and 81 yards in a 51-20 win against Crown. Greenville ran for 534 yards on 46 carries, an 11.6-yard average.
