Rhodes announced that Joe White has tendered his resignation as the institution's head football coach.

White's fourteen years as the Lynx head coach is the longest tenure by a head football coach in school history, and he ranks second in all-time wins at Rhodes with 64. White was 64-71 after the team went 4-6 this past season.

"It is with a measure of sadness that I have accepted Coach White’s resignation today,” said Rhodes athletic drector Mike Clary. "Joe has the utmost integrity and professionalism. He gave his heart and soul to the Rhodes football program."

"We at the college appreciate all that Coach White has brought to us during his time on campus and we wish him very well. We have nothing but respect for the dedication he has shown to the program and to the college,” said Clary.
