ADA Accessibility

  • Parking for fans with disabilities is available in the Cage Center lot adjacent to Valhalla. Patrons must display a valid, state issued handicap tag or placard to park in this designated parking lot.
  • The home grandstand and visitor stand are both wheelchair accessible and provide seating for persons with disabilities. Please see event staff for assistance.
  • ADA accessible restrooms are provided along with the general public restrooms located in the Valhalla Plaza.

Alcohol

  • Berry College has chosen to be a substance free campus believing it provides an optimum learning environment for our students. All guests are expected to follow college policies.  Alcohol, as well as tobacco use in any form, is prohibited on the campus including Valhalla.

Animals

  • Service animals for guests with disabilities are welcome. All service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Patrons must possess valid documentation.

Broadcasting Information

Cameras

  • Cameras are permitted inside Valhalla. We ask that you be a courteous photographer so that you do not interfere with other guest’s experience of the game. 

Chairs

  • Although fold-able chairs are permitted inside Valhalla, they are not permitted in either the visiting or home stands or the railed emergency egress walkways leading up to them. Please feel free to use them along the fence or any of the open lawn areas. Bleacher chair backs, no wider than 17 inches, are welcome and can be purchased at www.berryvikingstore.com in advance or at the merchandise tent located in the Valhalla Plaza directly behind the ticket booth on game day.

Complimentary Tickets

  • Complimentary tickets for guests of football players, cheerleaders and coaches will be available at the Will Call tent prior to each home game and in compliance with NCAA regulations. Will Call will open 2 hours prior to kickoff.
  • A picture ID is required for pickup of all complimentary tickets.
  • Guest’s names must be on the pass list to receive tickets.  If guest names are not on the list, they will be required to purchase a ticket without exception.

Concessions

  • Concessions will be available at all football games and located in the Valhalla Plaza. Concessions will open at the same time that the gates open, about 75 minutes prior to kickoff.
  • Concessions will only accept credit/debit cards. 
  • Food vending trucks will also be available just outside Valhalla during select home games.
  • No outside food and drink is allowed in Valhalla.

Coolers

  • Coolers are not permitted in Valhalla.

Emergencies and Evacuations

  • In the event of an emergency, all event staff, ushers, law enforcement and fire and emergency personnel are available to assist guests, including those with disabilities. Information will also be provided over the public address system.
  • First responders will be available at all home games and located on the south end of the main grand stand.
  • If medical assistance is needed, please contact the nearest usher, event worker, law enforcement officer or paramedic.

Entrance

  • There is only one entrance gate at Valhalla, which is located on the north end of the venue.
  • The gate will open about 75 minutes before kickoff, following the conclusion of the Viking walk.

Field Access

  • Spectators are not permitted on the football field before or during the game. Violators are subject to ejection and/or arrest.
  • Only properly credentialed personnel are allowed on the football field during the game.
  • Parents will be allowed on the field following a cooling-off period after each game for a limited period of time. 

First Aid

  • First aid supplies are available at the First Aid Tent adjacent to the Valhalla Plaza.

Game Rosters/Media Guides

  • Game specific rosters are available inside the gate to Valhalla at no cost to patrons.
  • Media guides will be available for free via a digital format for 2023.

Lost and Found

  • Lost and found is located at the concession stand inside Valhalla Plaza.
  • Those wishing to report lost or misplaced items may do so at this same location.

Merchandise

  • A limited choice of apparel will be available at the merchandise tent located in the Valhalla Plaza directly behind the ticket booth.
  • Additional merchandise, souvenirs and novelty items will be sold at other locations in and around Valhalla during select games.

Parking

  • Public parking is provided free of charge at a number of designated lots on campus.
  • Public parking is not permitted in any spot marked reserved for special permits, administrators, event workers, or game officials at any time. Violators are subject to ticketing and towing.

Press Box Access

  • Only credentialed personnel are allowed in the press box.
  • To secure media credentials for working press, please email Jason Hanes at jhanes@berry.edu with requests at least 48 hours before athletic contests.

Prohibited Items

  • The following items are not permitted in Valhalla: alcohol, artificial noisemakers (as per NCAA regulations), backpacks or large bags, balls, banners, drugs, flags, firearms or any other type of weapon, fireworks, Frisbees, ice coolers, irritants, knives, laser devices, picnic baskets, outside food or drink, seatbacks wider than 17 inches, tobacco, and televisions or radios without headphones.

Recycling

  • All guests are asked to help maintain the beauty of the Berry College campus. Guest are asked to use the recycling barrels positioned in the tailgating areas and in and around Valhalla.

Re-Entry Policy

  • Berry College football tickets are only valid for initial admittance to Valhalla. Guest who wish to exit the venue prior to the conclusion of the game and with the intention of returning must have their hand stamped by a main gate attendee before exiting. If you do not have the appropriate hand stamp upon return, you will be required to purchase another ticket (based on availability).

Restrooms

  • Restrooms are located in Valhalla Plaza.
  • Restrooms for tailgating patrons are available in the Cage Center, the Moon Building, and the Laughlin Building.

Seating

  • Only season ticket holders and single game seat back ticket holder have access to sitting in any of the home side grandstand blue seatback chairs.  To become a season ticket holder visit https://berry.regfox.com/berry-gameday-football-tickets.
  • All other seating is general admission. Although Valhalla is constructed with a customary home side grandstand and visitor seating on the opposite side of Williams Field, the visitor’s side will be utilized to accommodate capacity crowds.

Sportsmanship Expectations

  • All Berry College guests, fans and supporters are expected to conduct themselves with honor, dignity and respect.
  • Please demonstrate qualities of civility and sportsmanship at all times.
  • Do not use vulgar, abusive, racist, sexist, demeaning or intimidating language.
  • Please support the players, coaches and officials in a positive manner.
  • Please cheer loudly for your team.
  • Please treat all visiting teams, coaches and fans with courtesy and respect.
  • Do not engage in cheers that are vulgar, crass or demeaning.
  • Refrain from the throwing of any object.
  • Refrain from entering the playing field and team areas.
  • All state and federal laws will be enforced.
  • Consequences for guest exhibiting offensive behavior include, but not limited to: ejection from the venue, arrest, and a loss of the privilege of attending future games. 

Solicitation/Literature

Tailgating

  • All tailgating activities on the Berry College campus are subject to the laws and regulations of the state of Georgia and Berry College.
  • Parking spaces are available on the day of the game on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Parking in spots designated reserved for special permits, administrators, event workers, and game officials is prohibited at all times. Violators will be subject to ticketing and towing. Please see the parking/tailgating map at http://www.berrygameday.com/parking/.
  • Tailgating activities should not take up vacant parking spaces or interfere with traffic flow within campus parking lots. Driving lanes must be maintained at all times.  The speed limit on campus is 25 MPH.

Tickets

  • The Valhalla ticket booth and will call will open two hours prior to kickoff. The ticket booth will close at halftime.
  • A limited number of seat back tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the game for $25 plus tax.
  • General Admission tickets cost $10 plus tax.
  • Tickets are free for children 5 years old and younger for general admission. Seatback chairs are $25 per person regardless of age.
  • Tickets will be available at the Krannert Center information desk the week proceeding each home game. Faculty and staff members are eligible for two free tickets per game with valid Berry College ID for general admission.  Students receive one with valid Berry College ID.
  • Those wishing to purchase single-game tickets in advance of game week can do so online. (Note: Online purchases include a $1 per-ticket surcharge.). Online ticket purchases are only available until the Wednesday prior to each specific game day at noon.  At that point, tickets will then only be available for purchase at the Krannert Center Information Desk, which is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., or at the Valhalla ticket booth on game day.

Tobacco Use

  • Berry College has chosen to be a substance free campus believing it provides an optimum learning environment for our students. All guests are expected to follow college policies.  Tobacco use in any form, as well as alcohol, is prohibited on the campus including Valhalla.

Umbrellas

  • In the event of rain, guest are permitted to use umbrellas at Valhalla. Permitted they do not interfere with the sightlines of other guests.

Visiting Team Complimentary Tickets

  • Tickets that were pre-purchased online will be available at the Will Call tent adjacent to the main entrance gate of Valhalla.
  • Guest’s names must be on the visiting team pass list in order to receive tickets.  If guest names are not on the list, they will be required to purchase a ticket without exception.
  • A picture ID is required for pickup of all complimentary tickets.

  • Tickets that were pre-purchased online will be available at the Will Call tent adjacent to the main entrance gate of Valhalla.
