Offense
QB C.J. Croft, Jr., Hanover
Croft accounted for 413 yards of total offense and five touchdowns. Croft completed 22 of 36 passes for 288 yards with three TD passes and an interception. He also rushed for a team-high 125 yards on 21 carries with a pair of TDs.
OL Nebojsa Nedic, Melvin Warrick, Mike Broda, Nick Hanley, Corey Dieterle, Waynesburg
The Waynesburg line did its part in making backup quarterback Josh Graham's starting debut a successful one during the Yellow Jackets' 42-16 win over Grove City. Graham was not sacked and the line helped open up running lanes for seven ball carriers, including junior Justin Falcon, who went for a game-high 110 yards on just 19 carries.
RB Kimble Tillman, So., Whittier
Tillman did everything he could to help the Poets outlast Puget Sound in six overtimes, running the ball 23 times for 238 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-39 win. He had scoring runs of 20, 7 and 58 yards while averaging 10.3 yards per carry. He also two receptions for 33 yards.
RB Darius Wilson, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Wilson ran for 190 yards and averaged 10.6 yards per carry against an Hardin-Simmons defense that had allowed a combined total of 344 rushing yards through the first three games of the season. Wilson had a touchdown and a long run of 48 yards.
WR Jordan Roycroft, Sr., Washington and Jefferson
Roycroft had a school-record 14 receptions, going for 145 yards and three touchdowns, including eight catches for 83 yards and in the first half, helping the Presidents post a 21-17 halftime lead in an eventual loss to Thomas More.
WR Tyler Beiler, Sr., Bridgewater (Va.)
Beiler turned in a 212-yard performance , hauling in seven catches with touchdowns. On the day, Beiler posted 304 all-purpose yards, including 34 yards of punt returns and 54 yards of kickoff returns.
TE Danny Enright, Fr., Oberlin
Enright had a career day as he caught a career-best seven passes for a career-high 127 yards. He accounted for all 55 yards on the Yeomen's two-play scoring drive in the third quarter that gave Oberlin a 37-15 lead late in the third quarter. Following a 50-yard catch and run, on the next play he plowed his way into the zone on inside screen play.
Defense
DE Stephen Howard, Jr., Bridgewater
Howard recorded two sacks, to go along three tackles for a loss in a win against Ferrum. His efforts behind the line cost Ferrum 24 yards in total offense.
DT Darryl Moore, Jr., Waynesburg
Moore had 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in a 42-16 win against Grove City. He also batted down two passes at the line and totaled four tackles on the day.
DE Willie Hayes, Jr., North Central (Ill.)
Hayes accounted for 2.5 of North Central's five sacks as the Cardinals beat then-No. 17 UW-Eau Claire, 20-6. North Central allowed just 13 rushing yards and 186 total yards and held its third consecutive opponent to less than 10 points.
LB Nate Janzen, So., Louisiana College
Janzen led the Wildcats to a 45-42 win against Mississippi College by making 22 tackles, including nine solo stops. Janzen also forced a fumble, while tallying two tackles for loss.
LB Marquis Bradley, Sr., Grinnell
Bradley had a team-high 11 tackles, six solo, as well as two sacks, and an interception in Grinnell's 41-20 victory against Lake Forest.
LB Kaleb Donahue, Jr., Anderson
Donahue set two school records in a 56-20 win over Earlham. He returned one interception a school-record 96 yards for a touchdown and returned a second interception 78 yards for a score (5th longest), totalling a school-record 174 interceptions yards.
CB Graham Asum, So., Worcester State
Asum grabbed four interceptions for 113 yards which included a 52-yard return in a 30-18 victory against Westfield State.
S Tony Faller, Jr., Lakeland
Faller tied for the team lead in tackles and had a 65-yard interception return for a touchdown with 11:08 remaining in a 27-12 win at Hope. Faller helped bring an end to the Muskies 16-game non-conference losing streak.
S Chad Coward, Jr., Ohio Northern
Coward had team-highs of seven tackles and two sacks. He also forced, recovered and returned a fumble 30 yards. He led the ONU defense that limited Muskingum to 3 yards rushing and 158 yards of offense in a 36-0 victory.
S Jonathan Lambert, Sr., DePauw
Lambert recorded 13 tackles, seven solo, and broke up a pass in a 35-7 win against Sewanee.
CB C.J. Plyler, So., Oberlin
Plyler had a career-high two interceptions in his first collegiate start, in a win against Hiram. One of the interceptions came right before the first half and set up a Yeomen touchdown.
Special teams
K Brad Scott, So., Averett
Scott connected on field goals of 33 and 45 yards (he had a 50-yarder blocked), helping Averett score 20 unanswered points in a 20-10 win against Washington and Lee. Scott also had two kickoff go for touchbacks.
P Chad Peevey, Fr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Peevey averaged 46 yards per punt and put two of his four kicks inside the Hardin-Simmons 5. He pinned the Cowboys at the 5-yard line once and the 1-yard line another time. He had a long of 55 yards.
RET Marcus Mayo, Jr., Ferrum
Mayo returned three punts for 106 yards, one of them 76 yards for a touchdown, in a 35-24 loss to Bridgewater. Mayo was also Ferrum's starting quarterback.
