Offense

QB Steve Slowke, Sr., Alma
Slowke led Alma to a 52-31 win against Albion, which put the Scots in sole possession of first place in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. At one point in the game Slowke completed 20 consecutive passes en route to a 28-for-37 performance for 359 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for 50 yards on 15 carries.

OL Joseph Williams, Steven Huth, Thomas Anderson, Adam Hernandez, Garet Black, Hardin-Simmons
The Cowboys' line did not allow a sack in 42 pass attempts, against Sul Ross State, which was leading the conference in sacks. HSU averaged 7.8 yards per play.

RB Alec Getschow, So., St. Norbert
Getschow ran 18 times for 112 yards and school-record-tying five touchdowns and also caught four passes for 100 yards (long of 39).

RB Mike Johnson, Sr., Bethel
Johnson broke a Bethel single-game record with 46 carries as he finished with 237 yards rushing and tied his own school record with four rushing touchdowns in a 41-20 win against Gustavus.

WR Matt Kent, Jr., UW-Platteville
Kent, who was nursing an injured ankle, had the greatest day of receiving in program history when he caught 13 passes for a school-record 288 yards and four touchdowns. Kent caught touchdown passes of 82, 24, 22 and 68 yards. He also caught a two-point conversion from Tom Stetzer and returned the favor by throwing a two-point pass to Stetzer. With 291 total yards and 28 points, Kent accounted for 78% of the Pioneers' yards and 85% of their points.

WR Jesse Von Behren, Sr., Simpson
Von Behren took the first play of scrimmage for a 57-yard touchdown, then later caught TD passes of 9 and 10 yards. He finished with six catches for 135 yards and a carry for 21 yards. He also recorded three tackles on special teams, one following each of his touchdowns.

TE Randell Knapp, Jr., Mount Union
Knapp caught a team-high six passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Purple Raiders past John Carroll.

Defense

DL Adam Taylor, Jr., Hardin-Simmons
Taylor led the Cowboys in tackles with 10 (eight solo), breaking up a pass and recording a sack as they held Sul Ross State to 1 yard rushing and six points.

DL Steven Wilson, Sr., King's
Wilson posted a team-high eight tackles (seven solo) with 5.5 tackles for 45 yards in losses and 2.5 sacks for 31 lost yards. Wilson led a King’s defense that posted nine sacks and limited Widener to minus-56 rushing yards in the game in a 24-6.

DL John Diggs, Sr., Wheaton
Diggs and the Thunder defense held Carthage's Randal Baker, who was the leading rusher in Division III, to 96 yards on 26 carries for his first sub-100 yard rushing game of the season.

DL Mike Condello, Sr., Brockport State
Condello had eight total tackles in a 21-0 win against Ithaca, including seven for losses of 36 yards, and posted four sacks for 28 yards in losses. Condello became the third player in Brockport history to record 10 sacks in a season, and his 17.5 career sacks ranks him third all time.

LB Tim Swan, Sr., Rose-Hulman
Swan set a school record with three fumble recoveries, including one on the final play of overtime, in Rose-Hulman's 35-28 win against Millsaps. He also recorded nine tackles (five solo), one tackle-for-loss and forced a fumble. After the Engineers scored on the first drive of overtime to take the lead, Tim forced and recovered a Millsaps fumble on second down to end the contest and secure the team's second consecutive SCAC win.

LB Nick Haffele, Jr., UW-Stevens Point
Haffele recorded 16 tackles (11 solo) and a pair of sacks in a 38-27 win against UW-River Falls. He also forced and recovered a fourth-quarter fumble that led to the Pointers' final touchdown.

LB Ryan Welsh, Sr., Catholic
Welsh recorded 12 total tackles (six solo), with six tackles for loss and three sacks in Catholic's 41-35 overtime win against Frostburg State.

DB Jeremy Carroll, Sr., Amherst
Carroll torched Wesleyan for a career-high three interceptions on Saturday. His first interception and 33-yard touchdown return gave Amherst an early 7-0 lead, and his second pick led to a 36-yard field goal that put the Jeffs up 13-7 in a game they eventually lost 14-13.

DB Chris Warfield, Jr., Adrian
Warfield made nine tackles (eight solo), recovered a fumble, broke up three passes and made an interception in Adrian's 27-26 come-from-behind win against Hope.

DB Jon Woock, So., Washington U.
Woock collected a team-high eight tackles and forced three fumbles, all in the first half, as the Bears posted a 38-17 win at Chicago. He forced and recovered a fumble on the first play from scrimmage to set up the Bears' first score.

DB Nick Wehrheim, So., Lebanon Valley
Wehrheim was all over the field for a career-high 18 tackles, 17 of which were solo, in a 54-23 loss to Juniata.

Special teams

P/K Chris Reed, Sr., Muhlenberg
Reed set school records for points scored in a season by a kicker (59) and consecutive extra-points made (32), while also tying the school record for field goals in a season (11). Reed also punted four times for a 47-yard average.

BLK/RET Nate Murphy and Don Rodgers, So., Sewanee
Rodgers blocked three Rhodes punts and Murphy ran each of them in for touchdowns as Sewanee rallied for a 36-31 win. Only three other people have blocked three punts in a game in the last 23 seasons in Division III, and it was unclear whether anyone had ever returned three blocked punts for scores in a game.

RET B.J. Harvey, Jr., Illinois College
Harvey set an Illinois College record when he returned two punts for touchdowns in the Blueboys' 32-20 loss at Lake Forest. His first return covered 64 yards, and he later had a 63-yard punt return for a touchdown. He finished with 142 yards on four punt returns, and had 110 yards on three kickoff returns, including one for 61 yards. Harvey starts at defensive back, and he contributed seven tackles and one interception.
