Year of the one-handed grab

More news about: Hardin-Simmons

There have been a ton of one-handed catches this year in Division III, and this catch was the best of the Week 10 bunch as Hardin-Simmons receiver Colten Kent ropes this one in for the Cowboys. It's the D3football.com Play of the Week. This play also won the fan vote.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Here are some great plays which deserved extra mention:

Ricky Bautista took this busted play 67 yards for a touchdown. His run put Chapman up 35-24 and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps never got within one score the rest of the way as Chapman finished off its regular season with a 48-38 win.

Alex Wasserman makes a one-handed diving catch for a touchdown late in first half to put Cortland up 17-13 vs. Utica.

Ben Lyons connects on a 54-yard field goal in the fourth quarter as Northwestern (Minn.) defeats Crown 24-7.

With ten minutes left in the game, Dakota Duvall blocked St. Scholastica's punt and it was recovered by Columbus Bradberry for an 18-yard touchdown. A two-point conversion made it 28-20 and MacMurray went on to win 34-26.
