For the kicking team, this was no treat

Berry was about to go down by three points late in the game but that all turned around when Mamadou Soumahoro blocked an extra point and Jordan Arnett returned it 98 yards for two points, knotting up the game with Millsaps at 19-19 with 2:47 to go. Berry went on to win in overtime and keep its Southern Athletic Association title hopes alive. It's the D3football.com Play of the Week. (It was also the fan vote winner.)

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Week 9 Play of the Week finalists

Here are some great plays which deserved extra mention:

It's going to take some close inspection to determine what the big deal is about this play but you should see it on the second angle as Alex Pasiewicz tips the ball to himself and hauls in a 37-yard catch on third-and-14 in Lake Forest's 55-17 win vs. Knox. This was the winner of the fan vote.

Thiel quarterback Ryan Radke goes airborne and hurdles a defender downfield for a first down late in the third quarter in Thiel's 50-42 victory over Waynesburg.

Neither the video description nor the broadcasters do Brendon Irving any favors here. Watch how the Lebanon Valley running back fights through a hamstring injury on the final yards of his 79-yard TD run vs. Misericordia. (He left the game after this carry.)
