Wildcats: Full extension

Nobody has really come close to Mary Hardin-Baylor in the brief history of their new stadium, but Louisiana College, a 2012 playoff team, gave the Cru something to worry about. That's due in no small part to the catch Kyle Galyon made, as quarterback Easton Melancon put the ball where only he could catch it. It's the D3football.com Play of the Week.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Week 7 Play of the Week finalists

  • Claremont-Mudd-Scripps freshman Matt Aven tied an NCAA Division III record with a 62-yard field goal in the second quarter a 20-6 loss at Cal Lutheran. Watch
  • Ron Garrett does it again: For the fifth consecutive week, the King's defender scores on a return, this in a win at Stevenson. Watch
  • Brockport wide receiver Eric Malave catches a fourth-quarter touchdown to seal a Brockport victory over Cortland. On fourth down, Wayne Bonsell rolls right and finds Malave in the end zone for a spectacular diving touchdown catch. Watch
